Then this morning I grabbed my wetsuit hanging in the pitch dark bathroom. It lit up - I don't care if you believe me or not - but this algae is photo-sensitive. You can see it in the waves after dark and I saw it in pitch black in the bathroom this morning.
So I had to bring the camera to share what I could of this rare experience. Enjoy.
